I have been looking for you today
But haven’t been able to see
The bright and smiling face
That usually greeted me
You no longer reside in the dorms
Nor in the confines of the campus
I won’t see your face in the grill
Nor at any of the smoking spots
Although I cannot touch you
Or see your face today
I have reserved a place for you
With in my heart to stay
It has been hard to let you move there
To the place of Eternal rest
For the lingering pain within me
Has put me to the test
You shared yourself with me
And for this I now know loss
But I wouldn’t give up a minute with you
No matter what the cost
You will live in my heart for now
Until I see you again
Upon the mighty clouds
